They can't form a union. They can be fired for any reason whatsoever. They can't vote. They can either put up with anything their boss demands of them, or be deported.</p> <p>In a way, it's what every employer would like to have if they could: a steady supply of employees willing to work long and hard for low wages without complaint.</p> <p>We need an immigration policy that gives all workers the same rights and protections on the job, regardless of their immigration status and no matter what industry they work in.</p>
