Specifically, we're going to go over the history of 50-a, what it does, and how it prevents police accountability. We're also going to show attendees one of our projects--the People's Database of Police Misconduct and Brutality--for Rochester, NY. This is the start of a map showing the patterns and practices of police violence in Rochester.<br><br>So come at 7:00pm for the "Fire the Cops" reading group introductory meeting (see that event here: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/725647880891586/" rel="nofollow"><span>https://www.facebook.com/</span><wbr>events/725647880891586/</a>) and stay for the Abolish 50-a teach-in!</span></p>
