Solitary confinement, brutality

and beat downs—prisoners

A Reminder of Nazi Germany: USA is a Nation of Traitors

Submitted by gsosbee on Thu, 2015-10-29 15:16

I have shown by incontrovertible evidence for the past fifteen years that the employees of the fbi and the cia (including their agents, operatives, police associates, informants and often co opted members of the general public who take directives from the intelligence community) are *traitors because they engage in the following practices against our people: harassment, threats, 24/7 psychological assaults designed to drive the subject (i.e., Target) insane, mayhem, torture, forced suicide, impr

*The United States of America: The World’s Assassination Nation

Submitted by gsosbee on Wed, 2015-10-28 11:57

As I have shown for the past fifteen years, the United States government is run by homicidal sociopaths who are put in office by the ruling (rich) class and their followers.

The Texas State Bar Journal Refuses To Publish My Ad

Submitted by gsosbee on Tue, 2015-10-20 14:02

The Texas State Bar Journal Refuses To Publish My Ad, signaling fbi control over all ads placed in the Bar Journal.

The Texas Bar Journal today refused to publish my advertisement for the November, 2015 issue
which reads in part as follows:

“Geral Sosbee, wirtness to the macabre culture and unlawful practice of the FBI.
https://ttu.academia.edu/geralsosbee “

In the ad I made no reference to my main site at http://www.sosbeevfbi.com , but I referenced the following site:

Here is the State Bar Journal message to me:

A Stealth Class War Approaches With A Sledgehammer

Submitted by gsosbee on Thu, 2015-07-16 17:14

We no longer need George Orwell to remind us of the nightmare life forced on the general population by global government. The class war creeps upon us and provides for the torture, imprisonment and murder of individuals in our popular culture in increasing numbers. The wealthy, elite, high culture tycoons are mostly shielded from death squads, but all people are programmed to accept atrocities. Three links in support:

Coalition praises council on body cameras; demands a voice in policy decisions

Submitted by T. Forsyth on Wed, 2015-06-24 10:33

Coalition for Police Reform holds press conference on City Council's passing of Body Cameras

The Rochester Coalition for Police reform convened a press conference on Tuesday June 16 at 10:30am on the steps of City Hall.  The purpose was to 1. Proclaim a victory with $2 million alotted to Body Worn Cameras that was passed in the city's budget and 2. To indicate that the coalition wants a role in the shaping of the policies which will be approved by City Council at  a later date. You can read CPR's body worn camera policy recommendations here. Also CPR has put out a guide to help people with the city's survey regarding body cameras. That guide can be found here.

CPR also renewed the call for the Community Safety Agenda which includes an independent and viable Civilian Review Board process with subpoena power and independent investigative authority; a curtailment of Sop and Frisk (racial profiling), improving community understanding of individual rights to consent to be searched, and anti-racism professional development training for police officers.

Rochester Police Demographic Information, August 2013

Submitted by RIMC / special thanks to J. Olshefsky for creating the charts on Thu, 2015-04-30 12:52

Graphs depicting data on police demographic information from August 2013. Two questions were asked of the data 1) What is the racial composition of the Rochester Police Department?, 2) What is the gender composition of the Rochester Police Department?, and 3) How much of the police force works in the communities that it lives? Data was given to Rochester Indymedia after a Freedom of Information Act request was filed with the City of Rochester. The number before the percent represents that number of officers on the force for that category.

Account Creation Policy Change

Rochester Indymedia is now requiring editor approval for account creation.

We came to this decision after we had repeated spam posted to our website that caused difficulty with the website's functioning.  We will still have open publishing and keep our site as nonrestrictive and accessible as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.  As before, we will continue to be Rochester's grassroots news and education site.  Thank you for your continued support and remember, "Don't hate the media, be the media!"

Editorial Meeting Times / Locations

The Rochester Independent Media Center (R-IMC) is no longer meeting regularly.
We will set up meetings by necessity and appointment. Please contact us at rochesterindymedia@rocus.org.
