Few former fbi agents whistle this tune

No more heinous & insidious cowards are hatched and nourished by the USA than the clandestine assassins of fbi/cia.

https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/436163-geral-sosbee/1929821-public-no...

On July 26, 1908, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was hatched and subsequently nourished by a fearful public, an increasingly corrupt and cowardly congress and a fbi crime spree unprecedented in human affairs.

Fences Under the Bridge -- anti-homeless measure?

Submitted by R-IMC on Sat, 2015-04-18 08:39

It seems that Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks and City of Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren HAVE NO LONG-TERM PLAN to house the homeless. Posts for new fencing have been placed under the Frederick Douglass / Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge where Sanctuary Village pitched camp last fall and early winter. Apparently, a long-term plan does NOT mean finding sustainable, quality housing for folks, but rather fences to keep them from creating another tent city once they are kicked out from the Canal St. building.

Reverend Billy Interviewed at Occupy Wall Street in 2011

Submitted by T. Forsyth on Tue, 2012-12-18 13:18

Yes that's right! The leader of the Church of Life After Shopping (formerly the Church of Stop Shopping) himself turned up at OWS and my pal (Elaine) and I had a nice chat with him about things. Then, a week later, I went down to NYC and OWS and got video of an awesome impromptu jazz band! See the results. These events occurred in October of 2011!

Account Creation Policy Change

Rochester Indymedia is now requiring editor approval for account creation.

We came to this decision after we had repeated spam posted to our website that caused difficulty with the website's functioning.  We will still have open publishing and keep our site as nonrestrictive and accessible as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.  As before, we will continue to be Rochester's grassroots news and education site.  Thank you for your continued support and remember, "Don't hate the media, be the media!"

Editorial Meeting Times / Locations

The Rochester Independent Media Center (R-IMC) is no longer meeting regularly.
We will set up meetings by necessity and appointment. Please contact us at rochesterindymedia@rocus.org.
Our home is still the Flying Squirrel Community Space at 285 Clarissa St. Occasionally, we hold meetings at RCTV located at 21 Gorham Street.
