There have now been five successful Occupy Your Health events which were created with the goal of empowering the community to redesign the health care system from one we've inherited to one that benefits us all. This is all began from the original Occupy Wall Street protests that started on September 17th 2011 with a burst of incredible energy. Financial bailouts of 2008 caused massive raucous on Wall Street only to three years later set off a Worldwide movement of massive illumination that unites under the internet and Independent media outlets not popular media outlets nearly as much for independent news can be written with far more subjectivity. Virtually any idea can be occupied under the movement and anything that is out of balance does become occupied because according to those guiding others as their own sages it is indeed necessary to do so.

Where did all of this come from?

Well people could really question where they themselves belong in their own Universe since a good way to put it is that everyone is in their own Universe or own planet inside of their own minds. Problems have raged for centuries upon centuries amongst our planet Earth and that has led to mass corruption, violence of mind, physicality, verbal, abuse, and many other kinds of imbalances enough to throw off any wise person. It's like a big saturation point has been rising for quite some time now and the Occupy movement itself is merely a reflection of that. I can remember when this whole movement began with such fervor and grandeur of emotion that it made me feel like I wanted to just jump out of my own body and travel space as soon as possible even though that obviously wasn't practical at the time nor is right now. Yet the event space that was used for the fifth Occupy Your Health Event was very good and spacious for the vendors involved. The event was held at the Quaker Meeting house on 84 Scio Street in Rochester.

Where was the venue for Occupy Your Health 5?

The Quaker Meeting house was a great place to have 26 vendors present that were satisfied with their turn outs and information was easily dispersed with a crowd anywhere from 50 to 100 people who attended the event from 11 to 5 pm on the second of February. The event was also a free event and open to the public where practitioners of sound therapy, reiki, herbalism, yoga, massage therapy, midwifery, acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, and natural healthcare all shared their knowledge and skills with the people who attended the event throughout the day.

What does Occupy Your Health and the Occupy Movement want to truly accomplish going forward?

This has been a very difficult question to answer since everyone tries to answer it on a daily basis but never can seem to pin down what the answer to this question really is. Some of us want the financial system to have a complete 360 degree turn while others want Universal healthcare. It's really up to each one of us to change their own mode of health and to be our own diplomats and politicians instead of making others be our leaders. That is where I believe this is heading yet I am only speaking from a perceptive lens that is tainted through the glass of uniqueness.

There is so much power in similarity yet at the same time so much strength in differences between shapes, entities, peoples, groups, and other species that we all live with. Occupying our planet and our health takes a lot more responsibility than many of us would like to admit to ourselves on a daily basis. So that being said maybe there really isn't an answer to what true progression truly means because it is always happening in a Universe that is so vast and so complex that one can't even begin to fathom the depths of what answers can come to you when you allow more walls of yesterday to fall down and be let go of for the brightness of the new futures of tomorrow. There is a sense in all of us of wanting a better way, a better future, a stronger reality that we haven't attained yet but soon enough will get if we stay true to who we are which is what occupying truly means me.
