This Land is Our Land (Media Education Foundation, 2010, 45 min) screening and discussion
The film follows David Bollier’s investigation into the privatization of commonly owned land. Bollier retells the history of the corporate world’s race to grab public resources and documents various inspiring movements of opposition. We will follow up the film with a short open discussion. If you’ve ever felt like it’s impossible to stem the tide of commercialization, this film will give you some solid examples of ways to take your power back!
