Anti-Drone activists return to 12 Corners in Brighton

Rochester Against War, Band of Rebels, Progressives in Action and Metro Justice activists returned to the 12 Corners in Brighton on Wednesday August 22 to once again call attention to the costs and carnage of drone warfare.  About 30 people were in attendance and the message war largely well received.  A major failure of mainstream media was demonstrated when many passers-by asked "What is a drone?" 

For those who still don't know, a drone is a remote-controlled armed aircraft used in strikes around the world, including in countries we are not at war with.  It is difficult to distinguish military from civilian targets from halfway around the world.  Drones have been implicated in death and injury to children.  Many are also fearful that drones may be used against Americans at home.
