Rochester Indy TV to make debut on Channel 15

A new weekly news program produced by Rochester Indymedia and TV Dinner will make its debut on Wednesday, December 15, at 7:30pm on Rochester Cable Access TV Channel 15. The Goal of the program is to provide a consistent forum for under reported news stories and to build needed discussion on effective grassroots organizing activities in Western New York.
This weeks’ show features three segments that illustrate work being done to build alternatives. The first feature covers the Rally that Metro Justice organized to call attention to the media black out of election Fraud in the 2004 Presidential election. Speakers addressed a crowd of about 100 across from the Democrat and Chronicle offices on December 2nd.
The Second Feature deals with a forum on Racism and the Police in Rochester that took Place on December 7th at Rochester Cable Access TV. The forum was called by Black leaders to address recent events involving Council member Adam McFadden.
The Third feature includes portions of a talk given by Jack Spula and Carrie Andrews on The No Child Left Behind Act as it relates to military recruiters in US schools.
