Fortunately, there are a lot of committed people working very, very hard to address hideous situations around the world caused by our government. These workers do not have their eyes closed to the U.S. government's propaganda and blacklist campaign -- for example, on the Medecins sans frontieres (Doctors without Borders) website, you can read critical accounts of U.S. occupiers' contribution to ongoing medical disasters in Iraq. Naomi Klein's recent commentary is also posted on their website -- she shows how the U.S. government is attempting to own and control even the good will of humanitarian volunteers. It's heartening to see that one of the best NGO's, in my view, knows who its ideologic allies are.
