U.S. Election 2012- President Obama and Mitt Romney Joke about Unemployment

During a meeting of the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, President Barack Obama was told: “I’m sure that when you implemented the Recovery Act, your staff briefed you on many of these challenges.” At this point, President Obama smiled and interjected, “Shovel-ready was not as …. uh ….shovel-ready as we expected.” The Council erupted in laughter. While campaigning in Tampa, Florida, Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney visited a local coffee shop and spoke with a group of unemployed Floridians. The group was explaining the challenges of looking for work. According to The New York Time, when they finished, he weighed in with a predicament of his own. “I should tell my story,” Mr. Romney said. “I’m also unemployed.” Romney then chuckled.
