Rochester Businessman & Activist experiences intimidation by RPD

<p>Theodore “Teddy” Loria has successfully sued the City of Rochester and various members and former members of the Rochester Police Department four separate times in Federal Court back in the 1990’s for violating his civil rights. Loria currently has a 5th, 6th, and 7th lawsuit against the City and certain members of the Rochester Police Department pending in Federal Court<br><br>C.A.P.B.M.)--President--Theodore “Teddy” Loria who has been extremely out spoken, since the unnecessary police killing of a black male (“Hayden Blackman”) in October 2011, regarding the systemic abuse of himself and other citizens by various officers of the Rochester Police Department, was targeted &amp; stopped by six (6) RPD Tactical Unit officers with guns drawn, early Sunday morning April 1, 2012, for no apparent reason in what appeared to be an attempt to intimidate &amp; silence him once and for all.<br><br>Loria, and his Attorney John R. Parrinello, are asking a Federal Judge by way of an Order to Show Cause for a (<u><strong>restraining order/injunction</strong></u>) against the City of Rochester Police<br>Department” prohibiting RPD officers from:<br><br>1. Harassing Plaintiff in any form; and<br><br>2. Assaulting Plaintiff and/or using excessive force against him; and<br><br>3. Arresting and/or detaining Plaintiff without a warrant; and<br><br>4. Entering onto Plaintiff’s property/home located at 1848 North. Goodman Street in the Town of Irondequoit, New York, without a warrant; and<br><br>5. Enforcing a warrant at Plaintiff’s residence without videotaping theiractions from the moment of entry to the moment of exit, so there are no more assaults and use of excessive force on Plaintiff, by<br>Rochester Police officers; and<br><br>6. Approaching or having contact with Plaintiff while on his<br>property, at work, in a motor vehicle, and/or in public, without the<br>presence of a New York State Police officer, and/or Monroe County<br>Sheriff, and videotaping such encounter from beginning to end; and<br><br>7. An immediate, complete and through investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice (“Civil Rights Division”) of the Rochester Police Department’s long systematic pattern and practice of violating citizens civil rights, which will hopefully lead to a <u><strong>federal consent decree</strong></u> to be issued against the Rochester N.Y.
