The enormous protests in Wisconsin during February and March -- organized to oppose Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s legislation that would have all but eliminated public employee unions’ collective bargaining rights -- have tapered down in recent weeks. But although the national media spotlight has dimmed on the spirited movement that saw over 100,000 demonstrators descend on, and occupy the capitol in Madison, the progressive campaign to derail Walker’s hard right conservative agenda goes on.
