The film was shot in Pakistan in 2009. It's honest and thought-provoking--with music is by local talent Sunny Zaman and his band.
Pakistan is in the news almost every day. American media like to present a simplified story of Pakistan. How true is that story? Have you ever wondered what Pakistanis are like, or what they think about Americans? How about having a conversation with the man on the street in Lahore? Watch the world premiere of Pakistan One on One. Shot entirely in Lahore, the film is a broad survey of public opinion about issues of interest to Americans e.g. the War on Terror, the Taliban, democracy in Pakistan and American foreign policy in the region.
The screening of the film will be followed by a panel discussion. The panel will include director Mara Ahmed, Dr Aitezaz Ahmed, Dr Thomas Gibson and Dr Bilal Ahmed.

Mara's first film, The Muslims I Know, premiered at the Dryden Theatre in 2008. It was part of the High Falls Film Festival in 2009 and broadcast on WXXI. It has been screened on countless university and college campuses and at film festivals in Washington DC and Toronto. Pakistan One on One is Mara second documentary.
