Syracuse Liberation Conference

Conference on Liberation, featuring activists and organizers in immigrant rights, labor, anti-war, and anti-police struggles. Sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) and the Party for Socialism and Liberation. <!--break--> Unemployment, evictions and foreclosures, racist police brutality, ICE raids, and endless war: this is the daily reality facing poor and working people in Syracuse and across the country. While misery and poverty are increasing for the vast majority of us, U.S. corporations have just had their most profitable quarter ever. The gap between the haves and... the have-nots continues to increase. The bottom 50% of income-earners in this country now own less than 1% of the national wealth. At the same time, 83% of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of the richest 1%. The culprit is capitalism, a system in which the banks, corporations, and landlords profit off of misery and exploitation. The time to organize and fight back is now! Join us on February 12 for the Syracuse Conference on Liberation.
