There are reports that a Critical Mass ride that took place today was "ambushed" by Buffalo Police on its route. Initial reports are that some 75-100 bicyclists took part in a Critical Mass ride late this afternoon. At some point, Buffalo Police descended on the group, reports to BIMC indicate that some 30 arrests have taken place, including one local alternative journalist, reportedly for biting off the finger of a Buffalo police officer.
