Schneiderman to Discuss His Plan to Combat the Epidemic of Gun Violence
Events are Part of an Upstate Labor Day Weekend Swing Through Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo
ROCHESTER, NY - Tomorrow, lifelong Democrat and reformer Eric Schneiderman will visit Rochester, NY to meet voters and community leaders, and discuss his plan to fight the epidemic of gun and gang violence.
After visiting striking workers at the Mott applesauce plant in Williamstown, Schneiderman will be escorted by "Most Wanted," the anti-violence motorcycle gang, to meet with community members at the home of Rosemary Rivera and Sandra Lawry. In the past two weeks, there have been three murders on their block on Lexington Avenue.
Rochester is the second stop in a three-day labor day weekend swing through Syracuse, Buffalo and Rochester. Today, Schneiderman is in Syracuse receiving endorsements from Central New York Leaders, attending the state fair, and holding small roundtables about his plan to keep our streets safe.
