Queer Self Defense Woekshop on Sunday, March 7th, 1:00pm-3:00pm, United Martial Arts Center , 1748 Monroe Ave.
LGBTQ people are disproportionately the victims of violence in communities all across the country - including the Rochester area sometimes.
Come and learn basic verbal and physical self defense strategies in a safe, queer-affirming environment. Kelly Clark from the GAGV's Anti-Violence Project will also be on hand to share information about their programs and services.
