Funk the War I was held on 3/19/09, the 6th anniversary of the Iraq war.
This march was organized by the Students for a Democratic Society Rochester, NY chapter. The march started at Washington Square park proceeded down the sidewalk of Clinton Ave. Upon reaching Main St., many of the students and other protesters walked down Main St.. The group then met up with another march that had started on Exchange Street. The one big march proceeded down State St. to the Federal building.
