Local groups call for rally in front of County Legislature to protest Brooks' latest attacks on poor families.

Maggie Brooks has gone on a national media campaign against poor families in our community because they received federal stimulus money for back to school supplies. The hypocrisy and hatred coming from this so-called leader cannot stand unchallenged. Stand with real leaders in our community to rally against attacks on people who are surviving in poverty. Sister Grace (House of Mercy) is asking people to speak at the 6pm County Leg Human Services Committee meeting, as well as rally outside starting at 5pm.
