A concert for peace will be presented by Eastman School students and faculty on Sunday, April 27, 2003, 7:00 pm at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 111 North Chestnut Street downtown.

VISIONS OF PEACE will be a concert incorporating a wide variety of music, written and spoken word, and other art forms to send a message of hope and solidarity in a world rife with conflict. The arts are a vital sign of a thriving civilization, and music has an amazing ability to unite, to heal, and to impart hope.

The concert will include performances by members of the Eastman School of Music. A wide variety of music relating to peace and hope will be performed, and there will also be opportunities for the audience to participate, including community singing and moments of silence.

The concert is free and open to all members of the community. Opportunities to donate to local charitable organizations will be provided
