HOMICIDEZ
Not Just a Film, But a Call to Action
On Monday, March 2, 2009, join us at The Cinema Theater, 957 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY, to experience the World Premier of Homicidez, Nicholle La Vann’s independent film documentary about urban violence. The movie chronicles the experiences of four families of area homicide victims and explores the multi-faceted issue of urban violence from a local perspective.
Director Nicholle La Vann and members of the victims’ families will introduce the film. Following the film, the audience is encouraged to participate in a panel discussion featuring Mayor Robert Duffy and other local officials. The forum is a call to lawmakers to implement solutions that will change the trajectory of violent crime in our region.
