22 years for property damage? !
Marie Mason, longtime environmental organizer in the midwest was sentenced to 22 years in prison today for her role in an arson at Michigan State. The outrageous sentence is the longest and most draconian to date and was 2 years more than the freakish assistant US attorney even asked for!!!! US Attorney stated that Marie was unrepentant basically b/c she wouldn't snitch on others. Her ex-husband Frank Ambrose was the snitch that can now claim full responsibility for Marie's reality that she may be the first to die in prison for an ELF related property damage crime. Marie has a teenage daughter and a young son who is currently being prosecuted in federal court by the same FBI agent that went after her. His crime: five years ago he tagged a building with spray paint while a teenager. Ambrose snitched him out for that and I guess he'll be off to prison for that crime next....
Marie will be appealing the sentence.
