Lets intervene creatively
Sometimes I get a chance to listen to WHAM 1180, and it gives me a picture of how thoroughly talk radio has been absorbed by the Masters of War. WHAM is promoting a "Rally 'round America" Event for this Saturday. I think we need to show up and intervene somehow. Maybe not with our traditional demonstration style, but more creatively, perhaps with some comedy act involving representations of the actors behind this war. Anyone up for this task? We need to plan quickly.

WHAM would like to invite you to show your support for our brave men and women fighting and working for our country by joining us as we "Rally 'Round America" this Saturday, April 19th at 10a.m. at the Highland Bowl in Highland Park on South Avenue.
WHAM's Bob Lonsberry and Bill Lowe will host this event with patriotic music by Nik and the Nice Guys, inspirational speeches from war veterans, military families, Mayor Johnson, Jack Doyle and many more.
This is a can't miss event! Bring the kids, bring your friends and family and show your love and support for our country as we "Rally 'Round America"!
