Rochester, NY, April 11 2003 workers in downtown Rochester got some real news when buying their morning paper on Friday. The single word "lies" was stencil spray painted accross the newspaper vending machines of the Gannett owned Democrat and Chronicle and the USA today. Inside the vending machines newspapers were stuffed with 1 double sided page of images of the "collateral damage" so ignored by USA mainstream media, quotes from Noam Chomsky and others and information about upcoming local protests. No group has yet taken responsibility for this action. Clearly, activism is more alive than we though in Rochester, NY.
