On Saturday February 7th, the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley will be holding our 2nd annual CampusOUT Conference. Our theme for this year is "Out and In the Streets! Building Queer and Allied Student Power".
On Saturday February 7th, the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley will be holding our 2nd annual CampusOUT Conference. Our theme for this year is "Out and In the Streets! Building Queer and Allied Student Power".
The CampusOUT Conference will provide an atmosphere for students, faculty, staff and administration to exchange ideas and strategies to advance social justice and equality. The Gay Alliance is searching for facilitators to provide interactive workshops that teach skills based training to promote leadership and LGBT advocacy and activism. We encourage workshop presenters to "think outside of the box", and to make connections between LGBT equality and a broader social justice movement.
The deadlines for workshop proposals is December 1st, 2008. Please see attached workshop request for more information or contact Rebecca at rebeccan@gagv.us
