Please find enclosed check for $300 for RNC legal defense fund. (We are forwarding $300 each to the Minnesota Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and to the Coldsnap Legal Collective).

We held a community fundraiser in Rochester, NY and raised a total of $600. Concerned people came out to view a Rochester Inydmedia screening of newly edited footage from events during and immediately preceding the RNC. Rochester Food Not Bombs served food, and the overflowing crowd engaged in a serious discussion.

We heard first hand accounts from several local people who had traveled to the Twin Cities, generating much energy to fight back against repression and the ratcheting up of state violence against the people.

Thank you for your hard work and for standing up for all of our rights, not just those who were targeted in your city last week.
