Fundraiser for the Westen New York Delegation to the RNC actions in St. Paul/Minneapolis

We are urging all to join in the upcoming fundraiser for the Buffalo/ Western NY Delegation to the RNC actions in Minneapolis. We are organizing to strengthen the opposition to war and the Bush agenda and again make our voice clear in Minneapolis: No to McSame! We encourage everyone to join in attending the event and selling tickets to friends, co-workers, neighbors, all those standing against the Bush agenda.

The fundraiser will take place Wednesday August 27 and serves to assist youth in going and to maximize the ability of all those going to fully participate (more info below). For any questions, concerns, tickets, please email or call 602-8077.

To all those who are angry with the Republicans and the continuing Bush agenda and who stand for an anti-war and pro-people agenda -- please join us for "Happy Hour+" at Dnipro on Wednesday August 27 to help raise funds for the many youth from Buffalo who want to go to the RNC actions in Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 31-Sept. 4. Let's show that Buffalo supports an agenda that demands political empowerment and rejects the notion that power will always belong to the rich! No to Bush and No to McSame! End the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan Now! No War Against Iran! All U.S. Troops Home Now! Yes to Anti-War Candidates!

We will have snacks, a cash bar, hopefully live music, and enthusiastic political discussion! Bring your friends, relatives, co-workers, and anyone else you'd like to hang out with for an evening. It will be a good opportunity for all of us to come together and give a rousing show of support for the Buffalo contingent as they prepare to head to Minneapolis.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $10.
