Tim started playing guitar and learning Johhny Cash songs when he was only 5. When Tim was in his early teens, he would call random phone numbers. When people answered, he would say,"Hello, I'm Johnny Cash" and play a verse or two of Folsom Prison Blues. Tim says, "The people would giggle and sometimes ask me to call back when everyone was home, because they all loved Johnny Cash". People often ask Tim if he channels the spirit of Johhny Cash after his live shows.
