Protecting a baby killer
Primary tabs
When government gets used to protect a killer everyone loses!
My family has had a big problem, and we're getting
help from New York State Assemblyman Jack Quinn
for it. On 05/23/2007 the police removed a minor
child and her son from our home illegally. She was
seeing someone who killed her baby last Jan. 25th
and we wanted to put a stop to it so her other baby
was not put at risk.
When we told her she could not see the man who
killed her baby she assaulted her mother and called
the police. She told them she was in fear for her life,
and the life of her infant son. But that is a total
falsehood and the police removed her even though
we begged to speak with a supervisor.
Now there have been three false charges of neglect
placed against her mother. And she has been put
into the home of an alcoholic who isn't the father,
nor grandfather of her baby! The child protective
workers of Erie County need to be better trained.
Instead of bringing families together and protecting
children as they are mandated the workers in this
case are ripping the family apart and placing young,
innocent lives in danger! The people of Erie County
need a way to have oversight of, and a way to
make sure the child protection system is doing
what it should. We have tried to meet with the
commissioner, Mr. Weiner, but he will not see us.
The legislature should set up a citizens committee
that can deal with issues where the department of
social services is just plain wrong, or misguided.
The 17 year old minor in this case is using the
system, the police, and the department of social
services to protect a baby killer! This is a total
perversion of what these systems are set up to
do. And it's costing the taxpayers of Erie County
A LOT of money we can ill afford. Right now there
are six lawyers and a family courtroom being used
to prosecute an innocent person with lies. No one
should be allowed to hijack our public entities to
further their own agenda. If we had been sent a
properly trained child protective worker this never
would have happened. Our tax dollars should be
used where they can do the most good.
We need parents of teenagers with babies to know
that at 17 they can leave home. But the parent is
still responsible for them till they are 21. The law
has to be fixed and parents rights need to be
strengthened or they can lose control of children
they are still legally responsible for. We'd like
everyone from the Rochester area know a case that started in Monroe County has been blown up into a major persecution against us by Erie County. A 17 year old girl who wanted to protect a man who killed her unborn baby is using the system to keep him from going to prison.
