I wanted to mention it to every body, we're having a skill building conference for people who work to help their community at a grassroots level.

It's going to be a top notch conference and heavily subsidized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, so it's only $25 for three days.

The goals of the Diakonia Leadership Institute is to support congregational and community development of low-income persons & individuals who work in low-income communities by providing spiritual renewal, education and skill enhancement.
