Stainton a former Rochester City School District teacher and Monroe Community College professor. Stainton has been at the forefront of the movement against Million Dollar Maggie's Renaissance Square project.

Stainton is offering viable

The Four Pillars of Stainton's Campaign are:

1) Putting transparency in government

2) Create new "lower-carbon-living" options abd alternatives.

Including car co-ops, Zip-cars (hourly rental cars) bicycle libraries and building a commutter rail from Brockport through the City out to Fairport. Each to add variety lessen automobile waste and help connect our communities.

3) Increase local renewable energy supply
Exploring and using the abundant water and solar energy supplies in out area.

4) Economic re-localization
