Andrew Stainton, the Sustainability Party Candidate for Monroe County Executive needs your signatures to take on Maggie Brooks in the November Election. Stainton a former Rochester City School District teacher and Monroe Community College professor. Stainton has been at the forefront of the movement against Million Dollar Maggie's Renaissance Square project.

Facts you need to know:

The Democrats have laid down and haven't chose a canidate to oppose Maggie Brooks in the November Election.

Stainton is offering viable

The Four Pillars of Stainton's Campaign are:

1) Putting transparency in government

2) Create new "lower-carbon-living" options abd alternatives.

Including car co-ops, Zip-cars (hourly rental cars) bicycle libraries and building a commutter rail from Brockport through the City out to Fairport. Each to add variety lessen automobile waste and help connect our communities.

3) Increase local renewable energy supply
Exploring and using the abundant water and solar energy supplies in out area.

4) Economic re-localization

Stainton is collecting signatures to get on the ballot at the following locations:

The Rochester Independent Media Center (R-IMC) is no longer meeting regularly.
We will set up meetings by necessity and appointment. Please contact us at rochesterindymedia@rocus.org.
Our home is still the Flying Squirrel Community Space at 285 Clarissa St. Occasionally, we hold meetings at RCTV located at 21 Gorham Street.
