Human Papilloma Virus, commonly referred to as HPV, is a string of sexually transmitted viruses known to cause cancer primarily in women and in rare cases in men. The Food and Drug Administration recently approved a vaccine, researched and developed in Rochester , for use in girls/women, ages 9-26 years. Come learn more about the virus, the vaccine, and the issues and questions that are emerging.
