Rochester, NY — Planned Parenthood activists and supporters are standing up against the Supreme Court’s recent federal abortion ban decision which tells women that politicians, not doctors, will make their health care decisions for them.

The Rally for Women’s Lives will demonstrate that people across the Rochester community are standing together to declare that abortion bans that threaten women’s health are unacceptable.

The Rally coincides with the third anniversary of the Washington, D.C. March for Women’s Lives—the largest reproductive rights march in history. It will draw the public’s attention to the importance of women’s health and serve as a reminder that women’s health must be protected from dangerous laws that restrict abortion.
Supporters will be applauding the recent introduction of the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) which provides that it is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose when and whether to become a parent.
