A documentary profiling the life and times of historian, activist and author of the best-selling classic, “A People’s History of the United States.†Featuring rare archival materials, interviews with Zinn, colleagues and friends (including Noam Chomsky, Marian Wright Edelman, Daniel Ellsberg, Tom Hayden and Alice Walker), this documentary captures the essence of this activist and thinker who has been a catalyst for progressive change for more than sixty years.
Special Note: Howard Zinn will be on hand after the 2 p.m. screening to engage in a post-screening discussion with the audience. He will also be available to sign copies of his recent book, “A Power Governments Cannot Suppressâ€(City Lights Books).
This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
