Proof that the USA is a police state

Police abuse in NY last Saturday, February 11

For the record. Last Saturday, February 11 around 11pm, a group African American women were riding in a limousine in Time Sq., NYC. All of a sudden, the traffic stopped and while they were happily shouting stuff to people a group of young men, also African American around 16 to 18 years old, got near the limo to continue with the fun. People in the street were laughing because of the spontaneous situation located in the city's most trafficked and congested street. What seemed curious and funny for the people was the perfect moment for the NYCPD to make a show of force in this police state which is the United States of America. Pole in hand, they ran toward the boys while requesting backup and in a matter of seconds 30 officers arrived in several cars. The 6 or 7 kids did what any minority in the US would do in that situation: run. All of them escaped but one who got attacked by 6 officers and was arrested. What were the charges for his arrest? Being black and poor in the USA.
