On Saturday, December 16, around noon, a group of people started gathering for an anti-war march organized by the Parma Student Peace Initiative. The event started with a presentation by Rochester Against the War Street Theater. The artists represented a version of A Christmas Carol with Bush playing the role of Scrooge. After the short play, the high school students organizers started organizing the people, banners and signs for the march. During the march the activists demanded the immediate withdrawal of the US troops from Iraq. More that 80 percent of the US citizens don't want this war, and all over the world the people also want to stop it. Because the decision of keeping the war does not comes from the people, the marchers demanded: Power to the People 'Cause the People Want Peace!!
