Moore will address public concerns and complaints about illegal and excessive noise in the city.<br /><br />A leading expert on noise issues, Les Blomberg, Executive Director of the National non-profit group NOISE POLLUTION CLEARINGHOUSE (NPC), will speak about how noise effects our lives and the damage it does to the social and economic health of our communities. He will present Rochester citizens with noise solutions they can work on locally.<br /><br />Audiology professor Jim Feuerstein will review noise effects on our bodies and minds, and how serious a pandemic hearing loss has become in America.<br /><br />This is an important environmental event and people are urged to come with their questions, comments, and to share their personal experiences with noise.<br /><br />For more information, contact James Kaufmann of the Rochester Soundscape Society at: 585-467-6273.<br /><br /><br /><br /> <br />
