Veterans for Peace: Vietnam and Desert Storm veterans speak on a panel about their experience in war and why they are against the Iraq War

Vietnam/>/> and Desert Storm veterans will speak on a panel about their experience in war and why they are against the Iraq War. The goal for this event is to raise awareness in the community about the realities of war and to offer positions on what the US/> should now in
Iraq/>/>. The veterans will also speak about the strategies employed by military recruiters and how to identify young adults who are the most vulnerable.

This program is part of University of Rochester's Students for Social Justice’s anti-war campaign, which has included other events such as peace vigils, protests, and guerilla theater. The event is co-sponsored by the Anthropology Department, Amnesty, and College Democrats.

Admission is free and open to the public.
