 Katherine Stewart, author of  The Good News Club: The Christian Right’s Stealth Assault on America’s Children, will speak at the First Unitarian Church, 220 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, NY.

 

“The Good News Club” is a chilling exposé of the well-funded, highly coordinated effort by Christian Nationalists to use public schools to advance a fundamentalist agenda. The movement is aggressive and has our children in its sights. Its ultimate aim is to destroy the system of public education as we know it.

 

The event is hosted by Americans United for Separation of Church and State, MCPEARL (Monroe Citizens for Public Education and Religious Freedom) & the Social Justice Council of the First Unitarian Church.
