Rochester's Citizens United for Real Education announces the launch of it's website. http://www.rcure.org <!--break--> Rochester's Citizens United for Real Education (Rochester's CURE) has announced the launching of it's presence on the web with it's site at www.rcure.org. On this site you will find information on the issues the organization is working on, meeting information, the organization's Working Program and other documents, relevant internet links, and contact information. <br /><br />Rochester's CURE is an organization started in January of 2005 after months of planning by its steering committee. It is compromised of local parents and educators who are concerned with the state of the Rochester City School District and who want to give parents an authentic avenue to deal with a failing school system.<br /><br />Among the first actions Rochester's CURE has taken was to propose changes in the district's short-term suspension policy as well as changes in how the City School Board operates to make it more open and accessible. Details of both can be seen online at www.rcure.org.<br />
