Church Group and Peace Contingent March in Memorial Day Parade

Members of the Old Paths Bible Baptist Church from Holley in Orleans County marched in the Memorial Day Parade while distributing Bible tracts to the viewers. The group marched with megaphones while reciting Bible verses and statements that there is one way to God and that is through his son Jesus Christ.
The local Peace contingent marched 100+ feet behind the main group in their own parade. I contacted the Mayor's Office at City Hall who referred me to the Monroe County Office Building who then referred me back to the City. The Mayor's Office states that the Police are paid for by the City during the parade and that the parade permit is issued by the City. The City representative that I spoke to said that she was unsure as to who the permit is issued to but stated that she will do some research and call me with the information. Update to follow.
