YET ANOTHER CHANGE REGARDING DECEMBER 7TH COMMUNITY MEETING, i.e., CHANGE OF LOCATION
 
 


 
DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE LOCATION OF THE DECEMBER 7TH  MASS COMMUNITY MEETING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE ROCHESTER COMMUNITY TELEVISION BUILDING (RCTV) LOCATED AT 21 GORHAM STREET (OFF OF ST. PAUL STREET --- HEADING AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN, RIGHT TURN BEFORE UPPER FALLS BLVD.)

My Dear Brothers and Sisters:
 
First, I would like to sincerely thank those of you who were concerned and bold enough to quickly commit to action regarding our dire need to deal with issues of rampant racism, police brutality, and ongoing, calculated attempts to destroy authentic Black leadership.
 
I attended an emergency meeting with Councilman Adam McFadden and other Community leaders today. The Councilman has requested that in the interests of developing a long-range strategy to deal decisively and thoroughly with the issues noted above --- that we cancel our protest / demonstration planned for this Friday, and that instead we join him and others in  MOBILIZING PEOPLE TO ATTEND A MASS COMMUNITY MEETING AT ROCHESTER COMMUNITY TELEVISION BUILDING (OFF OF ST. PAUL STREET --- HEADING AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN, RIGHT TURN BEFORE UPPER FALLS BLVD.) ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7TH @ 6:30 PM. Councilman McFadden believes, and I concur --- that we need an ongoing MOVEMENT to put an end to rampant racism and police brutality, and demand racial equality and economic justice.
 
Thus, I am appealing to you (again) for your much-needed and much-appreciated support.  Please see attached flyer announcing this event. Hopefully, you are willing to help get the word out. LET'S PACK THE BUILDING! We will not turn back. This is only the beginning of something that's way overdue.
