Arundhati Roy, acclaimed Indian author and activist, is in Western New York this week to participate in two speaking events. Just Buffalo Literary Center organized the Wednesday and Thursday evening events as part of their program to engage the community in discussion on one particular book. This year Just Buffalo chose Roy's God of Small Things. In addition to her fiction, Arhundhati Roy, has spoken and written extensively on the Global Justice movement, her latest work is entitled "The Ordinary Person's Guide to Empire."
