IGNITING A REVOLUTION: An analysis of the Earth Liberation Front

+++ July 11 will feature an educational forum on the Earth Liberation Front titled IGNITING A REVOLUTION. This is a SARO event. It will be an in-depth analysis of history, philosophy, and effectiveness of the clandestine, radical environmental movement known as the Earth Liberation Front (ELF). The forum is open to the public and will be a great way to ask questions and share ideas about the use of radical tactics in defense of the earth. Refreshments will be provided.

The speakers are:

Dr. Maxwell Schnurer - Assistant professor and debate coach at Marist College

Dr. Lauren Eastwood - Ecosociology professor at Syracuse University

Anthony J. Nocella, II - Social science Ph.D student at Syracuse University

This event will be structured much like our April forum on the ALF, which was one of SARO's most successful and well-attended events to date.

IGNITING A REVOLUTION will take place at 4:00 PM in Heroy Auditorium on the Syracuse University campus.
