Bush in Buffalo
As many of you know, President Bush will be in WNY next Tuesday. We will be there to greet him -- there will be a protest/demonstration. Problem is, right now we know so little about his plans that its hard to plan anything concrete in response.
In order to make our response as successful as possible, its important that you:
1. Stay flexible. We don't know exactly where or when Bush will be here. If you're committed to letting him know how you feel about his disastrous policies, please be prepared to protest on your lunch break, call in sick, skip class -- this is a rare opportunity!
2. Stay in touch. The details may come in at the last minute, so please be sure to check your email as often as you can, or call us here at the Peace Center (894-2013).
3. Spread the word. Let your friends and family know that you'll be protestign against Bush, and how they can join you. Its not just us peace activists who aare opposed to the Bush agenda -- spread the word and help get everyone out to let Bush know that he's not welcome in our city!
