Health care, not warfare” events sponsored by seventeen local groups: At 7:00 on Thursday, March 11, in Nazareth College’s Arts Center in the lecture hall, there is a panel teach-in on why society’s priorities should focus on health care, not warfare. At 4:30 on Friday, March 19, the one-year anniversary of the Iraq War, we will rally with chants and entertainment at the Liberty Pole.

At 4:30 on Friday, March 19, the one-year anniversary of the Iraq War, we will rally with chants and entertainment at the Liberty Pole. At 5:00, we will march to Genesee hospital where we will hear speakers.

Following the rally and march, protestors are highly
encouraged to go to the Progressive Celebration 2004 at 6:30, which will bring together scores of Rochester organizations for a potluck, music (we need musicians and spoken word performers for the rally and the Progressive Celebration), and a very wide array of speeches. The Progressive Celebration is at the Edgerton Community Center — 41 Backus Street.
