Local Bands Begin a New Revolution

<p><strong>Intrinsic</strong> shares the stage with <strong>Endangered Youth</strong> to put on a spectacle evening of musical entertainment to an unimaginable proportion. Anyone who doesn’t show up will be missing out on several future legends.</p><p>Opening the show is talented local musician <strong>Chris Engard</strong>.</p><p>Following is the long awaited return of <strong>Comedown</strong>, the shoegazer inspired <strong>Subvert</strong> band from Penfield. After <strong>Comedown</strong> is the classic metal and grunge influenced band known as <strong>Horseface</strong>; a force to be reckoned with. Performing right after the mighty <strong>HorseFace</strong> is the modern day Rock N' Roll sensations <strong>The Results</strong>. These guys are a blend of classic AC/DC inspired Rock N' Roll, mixed with that bitter-sweet sound of classic Garage-Rock with a dash of Punk Rock and paprika. <strong>The Results</strong> bring visual entertainment to a some-what revisited sarcastic humor, blended with serious stage presence and killer tunes.</p><p>Co-Headlining are the <strong>Subvert </strong>Kings and Hard Rock Saviors known simply as <strong>Intrinsic</strong>. These guys are not a joke. <strong>Intrinsic</strong> keeps their sound simply complicated and throws audiences through a loop with their clever lyrics and simple but insane music. Along with <strong>Comedown</strong>, <strong>Intrinsic</strong> is part of a brand new genre, one with a fimiliar sound, but completely different and new sound which is called <strong>Subvert</strong>. Simply put, this new genre these bands call <strong>Subvert</strong> is exactly what it is: a revolution to bring about the dawning of a new era in music history.</p><p>Headling are the controversial experimental thrashers known as <strong>Endangered Youth</strong>. These young men are the perfect example of the kids your parents warned you about. <strong>Endangered Youth</strong> blends together that classic meaning of heavy metal with the anger and agression of classic 80's Hardcore Punk. <strong>Endangered Youth</strong> is a band made up of intelligent young men who aren't afraid to say what they feel.... And they have proved that many times. <strong>Endangered Youth</strong> will be promoting their brand new, debut album <strong>Furtherance</strong> and will speak their minds and have their points and views heard.</p><p>The show is planned to be a true landmark in Rochester’s music history as these young musicians bring true meaning and entertainment back to today’s “Contemporary Rock N’ Roll” music. Although the show was originally <strong>Intrinsic</strong>’s CD release show, the group has decided to push the release of their CD back a few weeks. When asked why the CD has been pushed back, lead vocalist <strong>Mykel “Nitro” Bellanca</strong> responded “F**k deadlines. We want our album to sound perfect to our standards; we want it produced the way we want it, period.
