Holocaust Remembrance Day Speaker
Primary tabs
Event happening at the U of R Interfaith Chapel, 320 Wilson St.
Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Yom HaShoah in Hebrew, is on May 5th. The U of R is lucky to invite Warren Heilbronner to speak about his experiences escaping Nazi Germany and how World War II and the Holocaust changed his life forever. His story is one of perseverance, bravery, and hope.
The next generation will not have the opportunity to hear a survivor speak. All are invited and encouraged to attend. It is with great privilege we welcome Warren to our U of R community. This event was created in hope of promoting cultural diversity on campus and remembering the 11 million people, including the 6 million Jews, who perished during the Holocaust.
Questions and a discussion will follow the event.
Sponsored by Hillel and the Panhellenic Association of U of R.
