Ryan Harvey took a month off from music stuff and volunteered his time and energy on the Greek island of Lesvos, where hundreds of thousands of refugees from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere have come by boat. He helped assemble a team of 5 American activists and they joined a larger effort in the rocky, isolated northern point called Korakas.
Ryan will share about his first hand experiences working with the refugees in Greece. Come out and hear about what is going on in Greece, about the people seeking refuge and what it looks like on the frontlines of this crisis.
