California Cousins
California Cousins brings you that new indie feel with a nice touch of that old emo sound you grew up with in high school. Back when you wore a lot of black and listened to Thursday, but they do it really well. Great Melodies and hypnotizing guitar riffs, combined with perfect speed changes and great vocals, California Cousins is not a band you want to miss. They will be playing with Divorce and Lighters at the Bug Jar on Tuesday March 3r.
Condition Oakland
Returning to their home away from home, the folk punk group Condition Oakland is something you won’t want to miss. If you have never seen them before I highly suggest seeing this one. They incorporate story telling over simple riffs played well. They will be playing with second chances and You Vandal at the Bug Jar on Wednesday March 4th
Thunder Body
Thunder Body is a Reggae, Dub, jam style band. They will get you moving for sure. The Group of talented musicians puts on a great show and will make you have a great time. They are Playing at Abilenes on Wednesday March 4th.
Full Body
Full body has that shoegaze indie garage rock sound that you can dance to. The melodic verses that go into heavy chorus’ will make you move and dance every time. They are playing with Pseudo Youth, and Cantelope on Thursday March 5th at The Bug Jar
The Temptators
The Temptators bring a little bit of punk into an awesome 50s style band. All dressed in yellow sweaters, the Temptators will make you do the twist while you sing along to their melodic fast garage rock 50s music. There isn’t much to else to say about them besides they are pretty rad to see. They are playing with Gun Trouble and Bryan Johnson Family Band at the Bug Jar Friday March 6th
Sexy Teenagers
This band is the only band that will ask you to boo them. In your face goofy drunk pop punk, Sexy Teens are a band that always puts on a great show. You’ll laugh, you may even cry, but by the end you will not regret seeing the Sexy Teenagers play, if you even remember it. They are playing with Sparrows, Setbacks, Ivy’s Panic Room, and Finish Last on Friday March 6th
New City Slang
New City Slang is just a good old rock and roll band with a little garage punk on the side. You will not be able to stand still at one of their shows. If you’re looking to dance and party and drink your face off this is the show for you. They will be playing with The Televisionaries, Pink Elephant, and Governess at Monty’s Krown on Saturday March 7th
